The Asian Textile and Garment Fair (AFF) winter exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, opened on December 7th. 435 enterprises from Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province, Shandong Province and other provinces and cities as well as Bangladesh exhibited 527 booths, nearly three times the size of the exhibition in June, and basically recovered to the level before the epidemic. It was understood that since the outbreak of the epidemic, this was the largest textile and clothing exhibition held overseas by China with the largest number of people going abroad.
It was worth noting that there were 35 enterprises in Yuecheng District of Shaoxing in this year's Japan AFF Exhibition, which was the last stop of the overseas representative exhibition activities of the 2022 "One Code to Orders" series in Yuecheng.
Most of the enterprises went to Japan for the first time in three years. The exhibitors and the buyers met again after three years through the "One Code to Orders" activity! This event was also a key event selected and created by the Yuecheng District Bureau of Commerce to better grasp the business opportunities brought by RCEP, consolidate and expand the market share of traditional textiles and clothing in Japan and South Korea.
According to the statistics of the first day of the platform, the total number of products of the 35 enterprises holding a group for the exhibition reached 2488. The first day of online product scanning was 1112, with 82 customers scanning the code, 368 foreign business cards collected offline, 311 e-mail inquiries and 179 real-time negotiations. The preliminary statistics showed that the intended turnover on the first day was about 2.8035 million dollars. Many enterprises, such as Shaoxing Cardina Textile Co., Ltd., Shaoxing Jiangfan International Trade Co., Ltd., Shaoxing Zida Import & Export Co., Ltd., have received the favor and inquiries of many Japanese professional buyers in varying degrees. In addition, Jing Chunhai, Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Department of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, made a special trip to the exhibition to congratulate the resumption of the offline exhibition of AFF after three years and to have in-depth exchanges with exhibitors. According to preliminary statistics, a total of 1402 professional buyers were present on the first day of the exhibition, realizing 3645 docking; Among the buyers who attended the first day of the past 35 sessions of the exhibition, they ranked the top.
